Adam is now 3 weeks old! This is also the first week that Adam and I have been home alone. It was so nice to have my mom and Suzanne here. Adam loved all of the extra attention. I loved that I could hand Adam off first thing in the morning and sleep another 2 hours. So this week has been a challenge. I've gotten a lot less sleep and I'm learning how to take care of Adam and me all by myself. For the most part I think things have gone really well. We have survived every single day. Some times I forget that I need to still brush my teeth at noon or eat lunch at some point. Forget about doing laundry or making dinner. Those things can wait until Dad gets home!
I'm also really proud of Jeff and I for cloth diapering. It's too early to pat ourselves on the back, but we've actually enjoyed it so far. I was hesitant at first to use prefolds, a snappi, and a cover, but through trial and error we made it work. Now that Adam is ten pounds, yup that's correct, we have moved over to using the one size diapers (on the smallest setting). In my opinion these are far easier to use than prefolds and covers.
I guess I forgot to mention, our Little Dude is 10 pounds 2 ounces! Wow, he is growing really fast!
The highlights this week included my parents stopping by on Saturday, Grandpa Hank coming over Sunday, Easter dinner in Tolland, Ying coming by Monday, I traveled to Branford Tuesday to visit Hannah and Keira, Wednesday Adam accompanied me to the orthodontist and then we went to the pediatrician, and today we went to a breast feeding support group. We've had a pretty busy week but we've managed to sneak in a nap pretty much every day :)
Go U Bears! Maybe he will go to Bowdoin like Mom, Dad, Opa, and Uncle Dan...

This was the day when he woke up at 4:15 and didn't want to fall asleep again until noon...
